If you lived in Houston in the 1960s you probably remember such kid television shows as Kitirik and Cadet Don on Channel 13 KTRK or Don Mahoney and Jeanna Claire with the Kiddie Troupers.

I got a chance to interview Cadet Don a few years ago. His real name is Al Eisenmann. Nice guy. He now writes books.
