KPRC Local 2 loses another weather guy?

Eagle-eyed reader, Dustin, all the way up in north Texas, found an interesting note on RoggerSimmons.com about one of the KPRC Local 2's newest weather dudes:
And, the WESH has added a fifth meteorologist to its staff to replace Mainolfi in the morning. The new met is Jason Brewer (right), who comes to WESH from Houston's KPRC-NBC 2. Brewer has been doing the weekend weather at the Houston station since May 2006. Previous to that he was the chief met at KOSA in Odessa, Texas, and also worked at WTVD-ABC 11 in Raleigh-Durham, N.C.
That was fast!

While I have big 2 on the radar, The Houston Business Journal reports the station will soon multicast a bilingual music/entertainment network:
Starting this spring, LATV's 24-hour network will be multicasted on KPRC's digital spectrum as a standard-definition channel. The station will be nationally and locally ad-supported and target 16- to 34-year-old Hispanic Americans.
