I've been watching SuperGroup on VH1 since it first came on. This show is right up my alley - a reality show mixed with rock.
Blabbermouth reports that Sebastian Bach has thrown some of Damnocracy's rough demos online on MySpace. He's supposedly not happy with the show's editing as it relates to him.
The tunes are OK. If they were recorded with an engineer in a studio, I'm sure they would turn out better.
The question is, will this show have another season with new rock stars? We're already seeing that on CBS.
My choice for next season:
Axl Rose - Vocals (come on, you can't deny the range)
Nikki Sixx - Bass (this guy knows how to write hit songs)
James Hetfield - Guitar/Vocals (heavy guitars and the voice)
Daron Malakian - Guitar/Vocals (he brings the new style edge to these older guys)
Shannon Larkin - Drums (watch him play live and you'll know why)
Trust me, they could create an interesting mix of songs. From the TV perspective, there would be no end to the drama. It's a win, win situation.
Anyone else brave enough to step up and take a swing at the crew for season 2?
