Axl Rose: "People will hear music this year"

In my latest Axl Rose Watch, we find the elusive Guns N' Roses frontman talking to Rolling Stone's Steve Baltin at the Korn party I mentioned a few days ago.

And Axl says Chinese Democracy should be out this year. OK, how many times have you heard this? I figure if Axl is starting to make appearances, something is about to happen. More from Rolling Stone:
"We're working on thirty-two songs, and twenty-six are nearly done," he [Axl] says. Of those, thirteen are slated for the final album. Among Rose's favorites are "Better," "There Was a Time" and "The Blues."
