I have a lot of people tell me they have no idea how to access the local TV station streaming apps, and now KPRC 2 Houston is making it easy by putting its digital offering on actual TV.
KPRC2+ is being streamed on 2.4 right now, which might even interest you more during this winter storm.
Now it is on real TV, but on a digital TV sub-channel. Don't let that scare you off. It's available via an over-the-air (OTA) antenna hookup... you know, the old-fashioned way of watching TV. Not sure if it is available on cable.
The station tells me this is a temporary program change while they look at "at longer-term options."
Channel 2.4 has been Dabl for a long time. Launched in 2019, the digital multicast television network aired reruns of cooking and home renovation shows. In 2023, it changed formats and started airing shows like Living Single, The Jamie Foxx Show, Moesha, Everybody Hates Chris, and Sister, Sister.
KPRC2+ launched in April 2022.
