"Houston is a city that keeps changing and keeps growing in great ways," Llamas told Houston Chronicle reporter Cary Darling. "Every time I visit Houston, it looks a little different. There are jobs here. Post-pandemic people started moving to different parts of the country, including Nashville and South Florida, and to Texas and to Houston. It just keeps growing. There are industries here. There is a lot of diversity here. It is a test market. There are all kinds of companies and restaurants. There is a good mix of Americans here. I’ve done a lot of reporting here and I have friends and family in Houston, and we have a really strong station in KPRC that has a great history in this city."
It's a part of a tour around the country for Llamas.
But before Llamas appeared on NBC's national airwaves, he sat down with a former ABC correspondent and now KPRC 2 evening anchor, Keith Garvin, for a round of questions.
