Since coming to Houston and channel 13, she has now been going by "Brhe Berry."
Berry has been with WTKR since August of 2017. And like a new KPRC 2 reporter, she has National Guard experience, this time in Virginia.
"Growing up as an Army brat has instilled in me a love for traveling and meeting new people," Berry wrote in her bio. "My dad still proudly serves in the Army."
Before Virginia, Berry worked at KELO Sioux Falls, SD as the morning anchor/reporter from March 2016 to 2017. She was also the station's healthbeat reporter.
Berry began her television news career at KLFY News 10 Lafayette, LA as a weekend Anchor/Reporter/Multi-Media Journalist from November 2014 to March 2016.
She has a broadcasting degree from James Madison University.
"Since 8th grade I knew that I wanted to be a journalist," Berry wrote. "After reading the morning news for my middle school, a teacher who I really respected stopped me and said 'that is your calling.' I never looked back."
