abc13 KTRK reporter Lauren Lea has left the station. Lea changed her LinkedIn profile to reflect she has ended her time with the station, working there from March 2016 – October 2016 (8 months). A rep from KTRK did not respond to my question about Lea's departure.

Lauren Lea joins KTRK abc13 after WOAI San Antonio

TV Spy is reporting that former WOAI San Antonio reporter, Lauren Lea, has joined KTRK abc13.
According to the site, Lea left San Antonio for Houston back in November to join her husband who had a job here. She had been with WOAI for five years.
Before SA, she worked at KARK Little Rock and KFDX-TV Wichita Falls.
The award winning reporter majored in broadcast journalism at the Schieffer School of Journalism at Texas Christian University and graduated from Boerne High School.
