DJ Paul Christy gets a shot at 93.7 The Arrow KKRW

Paul Christy is a big name in the Houston radio world and that is not about to change. Christy, who you heard for many years on Mix 96.5 KHMX, has taken a gig at 93.7 The Arrow KKRW (Sundays 10am-3pm).

"It's a pleasure to be back with the Clear Channel family in Houston," Christy told the mikemcguff.com blog. "At Arrow, I've worked with so many of the staff it's like going home. Steve Fix, The Colonel, Kelly Ryan--all buds of mine, and I'm a big fan of Walton and Johnson."

For those keeping score, Christy has a history with the classic rock format. Yeah, he was the morning man at Z107.5 KZFX from 1989-1991.

His radio resume is impressive:
Afternoons at KHTC, Houston 2004-2008
Swing/Wknds KRTH, Los Angeles 2003-2004
Afternoons at KHMX, Houston 1991-2003
Mornings, PD KZFX, Houston 1989-1991
Mornings, PD KRBE, Houston 1983-1989
Also KFI, Los Angeles, KFRC, San Francisco, others (In these cities he was known on air as Eric Chase)

Christy will also be lending his voice to other Clear Channel stations nationwide. Speaking of his voice, Christy has been recording voice overs for years. You've probably heard him in commercials. Here is his VO website. CONTACT: Leave me a Houston or Texas media news tip | COMMENT: Click to leave your thoughts on this post here
