Finger Furniture, Nordstrom Rack (re)open in Houston

New businesses are opening for the first time in Houston while others are coming back from the dead.

Finally! Nordstrom Rack in Houston
There's no shortage of bargain items. It may be best to let the dust settle after the initial hoopla. Additional discounts usually come about during holidays. So if you missed the first day, don't fret. You at least avoided long lines to get in.

Finger Furniture re-opens flagship store
After closing its doors late last year for a major renovation, Finger Furniture has re-opened its flagship store at 4001 Gulf Freeway. The 600,000-square-foot store -- with its showroom, clearance center and warehouse facility -- is the largest furniture store in Texas, according to Rodney Finger, former president of Finger Furniture.

Apricot Lane in the Galleria
Apricot Lane is a shop for women who like a little sparkle, whether on their bags, jeans or fingers and carries familiar on-trend labels such as Joe’s jeans, Paige Premium Denim Velvet, Hale Bob and Kensie.
