Sketch the Journalist informs us on the death of a pioneering Christian rap group founder:

Don't know if you've ever heard of The Cross Movement or Juan "Enock" James, but I wanted to let you know he passed away in Houston last Saturday.

Benefit concert
Tuesday 7-10pm
The Price Complex
3000 Jensen Dr.

The Cross Movement was a pioneering group for our genre that, in the mid-90's, reminded cats that hip hop did indeed exist on the East Coast. Around 2000, one of the group's founding members, Juan "Enock" James relocated to Houston and recorded "AWEthentic" with Much Luvv Records.
