Scott Weiland leaves Velvet Revolver and more
Scott Weiland is officially out of Velvet Revolver reports Blabbermouth, but Slash says the band will go on. Weiland is certainly moving on with the Stone Temple Pilots tour.
Who can replace Weiland? Michael Penix suggested Chris Cornell. It could work. Velvet Revolver apparently has one more record left on the record deal. They could a) Find a new singer, b) Release a live album, c) Release a greatest hits with some unreleased stuff.
Lars Ulrich says Metallica will play the new stuff in upcoming shows. Get your recorders ready.
Radio personality Eddie Trunk recently conducted an interview with Iron Maiden frontman Bruce Dickinson. This is the one where people thought Dickinson was being snobby against America.
